Dear Father Bily, Faculty, Staff, Parents, Teachers, Volunteers and Students,

I just realized as I started typing this newsletter that this will be my last one as Principal of St. Michael Catholic School.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
I have enjoyed my time with you and thank you for allowing me the privilege to work with you and your child(ren) as together we carry out the Divine mission of spreading God’s word, love, mercy, and compassion to all. The teachers and staff here have been awesome companions on this journey and are truly generous in giving of themselves to be co-educators in your child’s/children’s life. They deserve all our support and respect as they carry out this ministry. A Principal (or any person for that matter) could not have a better boss, than Father Bily. He loves this school and gives more than any of us really know to make sure this school is a viable force in this community. I have had the privilege of working closely with those of you who serve on the Advisory Council and the HSA Board. Your support and dedication for St. Michael Catholic School is inspiring. The vast groups of you who are volunteers and /or parents give because you believe in what St. Michael School stands for. Your generosity is what makes my job easy and at the same time models the importance of 'lending a helping hand' to our students. The young men and women that I have the privilege of guiding, teaching, and helping are great. Their potential is endless. Never settle for less than you can be. I realize that St. Michael Catholic School will miss the presence of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament who have been here for 94+ years. I also know that this school has the potential to continue the legacy that our Sisters have given you – namely, to make Jesus, the Incarnate Word, known and loved by who you are and how you treat one another. Jesus demands the best from all of us and I have no doubt that St. Michael Catholic School will not let Him down. Go forth in God’s love and peace. You are a great and powerful force that can withstand any challenge, rising with the Resurrected Christ to a new life that will exceed all your expectations. I will always cherish my time and the people here at St. Michael, Weimar. These have been awesome years. May God lead you, guide you, and bless you.
